I must say it's been awhile since I've been on here.... I've finally been able to get out several times over the past few weeks and had been absolutely slaughtering it!! Use that shaky head Mardi gras sparkle worm and you'll slaughter. Either that or just a green worm with a bright bright green tail on it.

Nice spots. When they start getting that size, they fight like smallmouth. Nice work!

Thanks man!!!! Just been having a lot of luck on the shaky Head. Mardi gras worm or a green worm with a very bright, bright green tail. I wish you the best in your endeavors!!

However, my go-to rig year-round will forever and always be a white rooster tail as big as you can get.... You can get a 1 oz. Put a big trouble hook on it. You're going to have to custom make it. You will slaughter it...

Nice catching, Tpw! Never thrown a Mardi Gras sparkle worm before; are they designed to stand up on a shaky head jig or do they flop over and you have to work action into your retrieve?

To work action but the color really works down here in the south at the moment. Especially the water is getting warm
