I fished at my favorite spot yesterday, EAST CANYON RESERVOIR.
Fishing was slow but luck was with me I think, because I thought I was going to be skunked.
Finally, the rod bent over and it was on. To my amazement, reeling this fish into shore, it was a hog!
It was a 23”, rainbow trout.

It sure was a nice one. Nothing like going to your favorite hole and reeling in a big one.

On a dead stick:
Carolina rig, 3’ leader, 1/4 sinker, hook is a minnow fly green with a piece worm 🐛 and green garlic power bait.
