I enjoy streams and small rivers mostly in the Sierras. I have mostly ranged hwy 50 to 88 with a litte bit of Sonora pass. I prefer the swing shift fish (afternoon, evening) I am not normally an early bird. With the right enticement, I can get up and out. I have a 16 ft. Lund v-hull w 45hp motor. Been sitting in my garage for 20 years. Some day I would like to get it out and fish. Looking for other places to fish between i-80 to Sonora pass, either side of crest.
Thank you. Fish on.

Hope you have a 4-stroke motor. Most sierra lakes don't want a 2-stroke near them.

So far, the only ones Im familar with that don't like 2 strokes are Tahoe, truckee, and up there--
I run a 2 stroke and haven't had any trouble with the local lakes-- Amador, Melones, Pardee, and hogan--
