Dan, it’s 7:30 PM, sunset is at 8:00 * SEE FISH PIXS * LKN NC * Kaboom * Fish Pixs *

Well after we got back from dinner with our wife’s, Dan got it in his head we should go fishing… “Dan, it’s 7:30, sunsets in 1/2 hour” and I didn’t bring any rods, baits, nothing. OK let’s go, what the heck, if you insist and won’t stop talking about going… 1st fish in less than 5 minutes, 2 more on way in. Got back to the dock at 8:15 PM Pixs of fish and beautiful Lake Norman North Carolina at sunset.

NCDUCK great pictures, I owned a Townhouse @ Catspaw north end of lake between Windemere and State park I used to go out like that down toward the park andcatch some nice strippers off the points walking redfins and stick baits. those spotted bass looked fat and healthy. tight lines as i always enjoy your post.

Thank you, Stripers and Hybrids are harder to find than they used to be, it’s a big lake and me and Dan try to get on the lake as much as we can… work is always trying to mess us up.

Duck those spotted bass are so cool looking! Guess I’ve gotta travel south to get myself one of those rascals.

Yes, they are aggressive and fight more like smallmouth bass… and since we are in the south the lakes don’t get too cold they bite year round

Congrats, Any time you can get on the lake is good! Look forward to trying the NC lakes soon. Retiring and moving to Clayton, NC June 5. Can't wait. Thanks for the pics.
