Back from Texas and Mom visit

Hey everybody, I got back to Windsor a little before midnight last night. Kindof a long day.
I had a good visit with Mom, all the ladies at her dining table and some others in the home where she is.
I took her up to get her hair done shortly before I left and she was so thankful.
My sister has a lot on her plate takin care of my BIL that she can't get up to see/visit with Mom everyday and I'm afraid it's gonna be really hard on her but that's just the way it is.
The poem that hueey posted really reminds me of her situation. Thanks brother.
I took some pics of how FLAT the plains are around Lubbock. More pics of the area where I grew up on the farm.
The radio towers in Lubbock with the red blinkin lights, in photo, can easily be seen for over 60 miles.
The only thing that limits how far you can see something is the curvature of the earth. So the towers are so tall you can see a light bulb burnin for over 60 miles.
Last pic is of the Vegas strip as we took off last night.
I want to thank you all for all the prayers for Mom and well wishes for a safe trip home.
We are tryin to get loaded up so we can get on the road for Tahoe.
I'll try to check back after I get up there.
Thanks again everybody, it's good to be back home in some ways and not in others.

Regardless the cost, it is worth it for you, and double that for your mother. Often we don't pay enough attention and love for the one who brought us into this world! Just Sayin...RJS

Thanks Hueey, it was a wonderful visit.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it back there after we sell the Tahoe house this summer. However, I won't be able to go until AFTER we close the sale and are moved out of the house completely.

Yeah, hopefully not.
We want to move to Brentwood to be closer to my daughter. She was diagnosed with lupus a couple of years ago and things are gettin harder for her.
She also wants us closer to her so she can help keep an eye on Sue, her Mom.
